Principal's Message

This is Mark Campbell, principal at Lawrence High School welcoming you and your student back for what we hope to be a successful 2018-2019 school year. Recently we mailed out our annual summer packets with important information for you and your student as we open up the school year. There are several handouts all students received which we hope will help prepare you for the new school year. There are three forms we need signed and returned, emergency card, lunch forms, and the Annual Student Notice of Information and Agreements form. Student should turn these signed papers in to their homeroom teachers.

Other forms/letters may be in your packet if pertinent to your grade. All seniors received a transcript to look over in an effort to ensure they already have what they need for required classes or have in their schedule the remaining required classes for graduation. Freshmen received a letter explaining Freshmen Orientation day. The State has changed the rules pertaining to attendance in particular for truancy and Chronically Absent. Based on 2017-2018 attendance records some students may have letters who were identified under the new State rules.

We also wish to remind students to charge chromebooks before returning to classes.

We are looking forward to working with you and your student and encourage you to call or come on in if you have any questions or concerns.

Thank you
