Principal's Message

Graduation - 6PM, Thur., 6/4/20

Suggested arrival times have been shared with the Seniors. It shows when they should arrive and their estimated time for receiving their diploma. Realizing that this is a fluid event, times may get skewed. We will be live streaming the event. The link will be posted on our Facebook page and the District page.

Per Governor Mills' executive order and keeping with guidelines for Phase II of reopening, we need to adhere to social distancing guidelines and there should be a crowd of no more than 50 out front waiting to enter the high school. That is why we're asking each graduate and their ticketed guests to line up, in order, on the numbered Paws 1 - 6. The spacing of the painted numbered paws is more than enough distance between groups, but please be considerate of everyone.  Masks are to be worn. Graduates will get their mask upon entering the school.

Graduate Car Caravan parade will take place from the student parking lot 15 minutes after the last diploma has been issued. We have Fairfield Police escorting the front and rear of the parade, as well as other town's rescue vehicles joining in for the tribute parade to send our Graduates off! Seniors can park their cars in lineup fashion behind the school before they go in for graduation and should report back before the end of graduation.

The parade route is the same as Homecoming: leave school from the baseball field side and exit L onto West St. to Western Ave. R onto Main St. and through the lights at the intersection. R onto Summit St., across from the Big Apple, and continue through both intersections of Summit St. R back to the high school. Graduates will be dismissed on their own once parade is complete.

Congratulations to all students and parents on this milestone event!
